Images

A picture is worth a thousand words, which makes your product photos crucial. Each product can have up to five images: the main image, which also serves as a thumbnail for the item, and up to four additional images, which will be visible after clicking on the product.

A guide for impactful images

Be clear

Your photos should only display the product you are selling, and not more than one unit if it is sold individually. Choose photos that enhance all the main features of your product, including size, texture and color. Avoid photos where the product is cut off or unclear.

Let your product shine

Do not add text, decorative borders, watermarks or patterns on your product images. If there is information you want to add, do not use the photos to communicate it, use the description field. Your product is what's most important, do not distract away from it.

Take quality pictures

Photos encourage customers to purchase products. Avoid taking pictures in front of a wall or a background with any distinctive features. The background should be white, which you can achieve using a light box. Make sure your object is nicely focused.

Use the right dimensions and format

The images must meet the following requirements:

  • The format must be one of these: webp, png, jpg or bmp

  • Must be less than 1 MB

  • Must have a minimum size of 500 x 500 px

  • The image must be a square

Description

  • 350ml can

  • 50 units

  • 500g

  • 10 portions

  • Individual portion

Category

Categories are predefined in the TrakiTrak; you only need to select the one that best suits your products. You need to enter at least five (5) products in a category for it to be displayed; otherwise, the products will be included in the "Others" category.

SKU

The SKU works as an identifier of each product in a store. It's very important for mass updates, as it's what allows you to identify the products that need to be modified.

Barcodes

Barcodes allow you to quickly recognize items in a unique, global and accurate way, either for inventory purposes or simply to check product details.

How products are charged/sold

  1. If a product is sold by Weight, products are priced solely based on their weight in grams, allowing customers to pay according to the specific weight of the chosen items.

  2. If a product is sold by Package, for exemple meat, which may vary in weight, it is necessary to include the approximate weight per unit for this product type.

  3. Products sold by Weight & Package

may be requested by the customer either by bulk(1000g of apple) or by units(1 apple).

Check this option if the product can be ordered by weight or unit.

If that is the case, do not forget to include the products approximate weight per unit.

Price

Prices should be the same as what customers would find in your store.

ℹ️ If a product is sold in bulk or by weight, the product price should be equivalent to 1 kg. The system will then calculate the total price so that users can order from 100g and up.

Now that you have the relevant information, you can start creating products. You can do this either one by one or in bulk, using our Excel spreadsheet.
