When you place an order and some items are out of stock, our app ensures you can still get what you need by offering alternatives. Here's how you can choose substitutes for unavailable products:

  1. Notification Alert: You'll receive a notification from the app that alternatives are available for certain out-of-stock items. This notification is sent by your shopper, in this case, Ahmad H.

  2. Accessing Chat: Tap on the notification to open the app. This will lead you to the chat with your shopper. In the chat window, you will see a message from Ahmad H, prompting you to select substitutions for the unavailable products.

  3. Choosing Alternatives: In the chat, you will see a "Choose replacement" button. Clicking this button will take you to a new screen where you can view all available alternatives.

  4. Time Limit: You have 5 minutes to make your selections. This time constraint ensures that your order is processed quickly and efficiently without delays.

  5. Selecting Substitutes or Requesting a Refund: On the substitutions screen, you can choose a suitable alternative for each unavailable item. If you prefer not to select an alternative, you have the option to request a refund for the specific item by clicking on the "Refund" button.

  6. Finalizing Your Choice: Once you have selected your substitutes or opted for refunds, press the "Send substitutions" button to confirm your choices. This updates your order with the new items or the refund requests.

  7. Continued Order Fulfillment: After your selections are made, your shopper, will continue to prepare your order with the chosen alternatives or adjust the billing if refunds were requested.

This interactive feature ensures that you are in control of your order and can customize it according to your preferences and availability of products. Happy shopping with TrakiTrak!
